To stand up, you have to know what falling feels like…

Struggles are part of life’s journey because of the growth it produces in oneself.

Though every struggle is created by our choices, choices we live by.

Here are the top 4 daily encounters we deal with in our every signal day if not moments of our lives, below:

1. Memories:

I view life as a movie filled with so many scenarios, some are beautiful and some are ugly. In as much as we have beautiful memories and ugly ones, we look so much at the ugly ones that we forget to give gratitude to the beautiful ones.

A question I ask myself… Are the ugly ones worth the time, energy, and focus we give to them? Maybe or maybe not. In some circumstances; the lessons are worth our attention and not the blame we give to ourselves.

Memories either beautiful or horrible don’t suck because they are what makes life interesting[the aspect of not understanding the whys to it.]

Ugly incidents don’t define us, they give us an opportunity to finding our true person.

How we react to situations is what defines our strengths.

You have to at least try to defeat your pains and expectations by letting go or facing it head-on.

Sometimes is not the ugly memories that hurt us, it’s our inabilities to:

  • Unlearn and relearn
  • Let go
  • Forgive, and
  • Accepting.

We hold on to our expectations and when it is not fulfilled, we get hurt.

Memories are flashbacks, not a hurting tool.

2. Future:

We encounter a lot of difficulties and we only hope for the future because we believe it is gonna make a difference in some ways.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”... That is okay but what about living in the presence.

Yesterday was the past

Today is the present

Tomorrow is the future… A lot of times people live today as the past, yesterday as today, and tomorrow as the future to take action for the betterment. We forget to live today to the fullest, thinking about solutions than reoccurring the yesterday and procrastinating to tomorrow.

I believe my future is now in this present moment, actions and if it’s not what I want, I have to take action now to change it, and if it is, I live it like it was the last.

The word “future” should invigorate your actions and not procrastinate them.

The future is beautiful to those who look forward with gratitude and love and awful to those who look forward with regrets and hatred.

Establishing a great future starts now.

3. People:

People are no doubt the most difficult thing to handle because there are so many things you can’t deal with when it comes to other people and that’s why we get disappointed all the time.

You also disappoint people too… so, it’s all so crazy trying to control people’s feelings, actions, words, or expecting them not to hurt you.

If people were easy, things would be perfect.

Though it is perfect enough to know “you control how you react to them”.

It is true you can’t control people, things, and events but you can control how you respond to them.

By these:

  • Set your boundaries
  • Accept people and things as they are by reacting positively to them.
  • Do not expect much from people.
  • Forgive and move on.

4. Thoughts:

Our thoughts are powerful…. So powerful that it sparks our actions.

This is why, where attention goes, action flows and the action determines results.

We all have to be careful where we focus our attention because those thoughts could become our reality.

We mostly judge ourselves not mainly about what they said but what we thought…

Things are easy we make it difficult by how we perceive them. Lol!

Living a positive life is not as easy as they say but we can accomplish it by first making our minds a wonderful place to be in.

Note:

“Mind is a flexible mirror, adjust it, to see a better world.”

“Once your mindset changes, everything on the outside will change along with it.”

“Happiness has to do with your mindset, not with outside circumstance.”

How powerful do you see the mind?
