The process is what makes you better not the results.

Productivity is all about priorities because a busy life is a wasteful life.

“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” — George Bernhard Shaw.

I once heard that “ no one is ever truly busy, people just go for what’s important to them but not everyone knows what’s important to them.

Knowing your priorities makes these 7 (seven) skills achievable:

1. Be ruthless when it comes to the outcome.

We all own our life so as our choices so mind the process you walk through because only 20% of what we do, contributes to 80% of our results.

2. Time management is self-management:

Manage your time by knowing what is your priorities, what’s important, and what is urgent because it keeps you focused so you won’t be jumping into irrelevant activities.

3. Set deadlines:

Deadlines are not there to rush you or make you feel bad but they are there as accountability of where your most time goes.

Maximum result to minimum time

4. Question your to-do list:

Ask yourself why you want to do the things you set out to, is it important, will it benefit me or make me satisfied… Is it a process to my goal.

5. Ask good questions like:

  • What is the highest and best use of my time right now?
  • Why I am doing this?
  • What is the payoff of this activity?

6. Stop working:

Once you are done for the day, stop working even if you still have some time left for the day. Rather you think of what next goal to achieve and jot down on a book.

7. Have a reality check:

Ask yourself if your actions are moving you towards your goals, what’s moving you backward, and what has kept you on track.

Deal with everything positively.
